Laclede’s Landing
Laclede’s Landing – St. Louis started here.
Once the manufacturing, warehousing and shipping hub of the city, the nine-block riverfront district combines 19th-century architecture and 21st-century entertainment. Restaurants, bars, attractions and entertainment venues line the cobblestone streets, and the Great Rivers Greenway Riverfront Trail skirts the neighborhood. Part of the Mississippi River Greenway, the 15-mile family-friendly trail awards unique views of the industrial landscape along the river.
From The Landing, as locals call it, you can also take a short walk through the reimagined National Park grounds to the Gateway Arch, Riverboats at the Gateway Arch and Gateway Helicopter Tours.
If you’re in town on Labor Day weekend, don’t miss the Big Muddy Blues Festival at Laclede’s Landing. The free festival showcases world-class musical talent in a spirited setting.
